It is so on: You’ve almost made it through your first month of the 2026 club tournament season. How do you feel?! Bruised, tired, beat up?! Perfect! That means you’re putting in the hard work!

If you’re new to tournaments, welcome! It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but I hope you’re settling in. If you ever need advice or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to provide support and guidance!

Pro Tip: There are A LOT of things to juggle right now! Set up a time each week to discuss tournament and travel plans, laundry days, snack packing times and when and where you need to be for tournaments. Athletes: this is your experience after all. Take the ownership and stay on top of it.

Prospect Camps Currently Open

Prospect camps are opportunities for athletes to learn and participate in programs that are actively recruiting athletes. These camps are typically hosted by programs with roster spots to fill. They are incredible opportunities for athletes who are within a year or two of graduation and are looking to secure their collegiate volleyball home.

Summer Camp Registrations Are Open!

Skills camps are great ways to not only get exposure, but also be coached by some of the most experienced coaches around. Even if the camp is offered at a school you’re not interested in, the volleyball community is small. A coach might be really impressed with the skill set you offer and might know of the perfect program for you!

My advice: attend as many skills camps as possible and register early. If you play multiple positions, I recommend choosing the one you’re weakest in and attending a camp focused on that position. As uncomfortable as it may be, you’re only as as strong as your weakest skill, and growth happens outside of your comfort zone.

Keep Inviting and Following Up With Coaches!
